The invisible threads of our community came to light and in motion. What we thought would simply showcase our climate community, instead deepened our sense of connection and purpose."

Climate North, a Toronto-based non-profit brings together climate enthusiasts for monthly events.
While they had great organic recognition, they wanted to grow their audience and add value to their existing members.
Given the audience was primarily founders, partnership seekers, and people looking for work/network, Sustainable Storytelling saw an opportunity to create videos that inform, rather than sell.
Our challenge: help audiences self-qualify quickly, in a way that made them feel seen.

Action 1 - Sustainable Storytelling + Climate North brainstormed a videos series mixing the "come-along" and "testimonial" styles, exploring the value of Climate North.
Action 2 - We designed testimonial prompts to surface what each segment cares about:
Action 3 - Planned for each interview-based video to make viewers consider one question - “Should I attend a Climate North event?”

We produced a two-part series featuring 4 attendees and 3 speakers, launched the YouTube channel, and published a Substack homepage built for the attend/not-attend decision.
